Our Focus
Te Mana O Kupe Trust’s focus is on achieving greater equality in education. We recognise that all families want to invest in their children’s education. This is not always possible for low income families so the Trust provides micro- finance with low payments over time, warranty and insurance support along with affordable internet options. It is a safe, secure and dignified option open to all families who attend our schools in Porirua East. Most importantly, families can have a sense of pride in the investment they are making in their children’s education.
Our Kaupapa
Our kaupapa is to maintain and develop strong mana-enhancing relationships and to express attributes of rangatiratanga and whanauungatanga including the rights and obligations that underpin whānau, hapū and iwi. We value the role of the wider community to provide support, assistance, guidance and direction.
