Our shared purpose is to provide an education that enables our students to become successful, lifelong learners and digital citizens, evidenced by improved student achievement across the curriculum, and improved resilience (through the key competencies) to ongoing social and technological change.

We will do this by:

  • Providing students and their families with equitable access to the digital environment
  • Engaging students and their parents/ whānau in rich and meaningful learning conversations and tasks
  • Challenging teacher practice and supporting their commitment to a cycle of ongoing reflection and change

Our goals are to:

    • Accelerate student achievement, with each school identifying their particular focus of reading, writing or mathematics
    • Create a cluster–wide learning community that shares data and information about effective teacher practice
    • Improve home/school learning partnerships evidenced by increased numbers of parent/teacher/student learning conversations
    • Increase the number of students and whānau with access to appropriate technology and internet for learning
